A few months after the creation of the Paris-Saclay Mechanics Laboratory, the first edition of the LMP(h.D')S doctoral students' day took place on June 21, 2022, on the terrace of the Michelin amphitheatre at CentraleSupélec.
This event is a showcase of the laboratory's recent research activities.
The numerous industrial and academic partnerships are reflected in the work of the students and the variety of subjects treated in mechanics.
An exhibition of posters designed by several dozen doctoral students will highlight the diversity and scientific richness of the activities carried out within the laboratory's four teams (COMMET, MiLA, OMEIR and STAN).
While personal contributions are obviously in the majority, some collective contributions, resulting from the sharing of tools and methods between doctoral students, will also be highlighted.
If it is, after several months marked by the health crisis, the possibility to meet that motivates the setting up of the LMP(h.D')S, this moment is especially the occasion to (re)discover the main research axes in mechanics of the LMPS in a convivial and benevolent frame, where the exchanges that will be initiated will certainly be the source of emulation and scientific collaborations between all the members of the laboratory.
At the end of the day, 2 prizes will be awarded to the most remarkable contributions: the first will be awarded by a vote open to all participants, the second by a jury of experts appointed from among the laboratory's professors.
Come one and all!
