Research activities
Doctoral student at the Eikologie research organisation in the COMMET team with ANR 3FAM funding. The aim of this thesis is to characterise the 3D fracture mechanics properties of anisotropic materials produced by 3D printing using molten wire deposition (FDM, BDM) using advanced experimental techniques. The mechanical tests planned are in-situ tests carried out using an X-ray tomograph, and the data will be processed using DVC. Two methodological axes are at the heart of the thesis project, namely the development of integrated 3D correlation methods and the extension of P-DVC to fracture mechanics tests.
