Contracted research laboratory "Pole of Research and Studies on the Vulnerability of Infrastructures"

LRC PREVI (Pole of Research and Studies on the Vulnerability of Infrastructures), created on 6 April 2021, is a research laboratory under agreement between the CEA, the University of Paris-Saclay - ENS Paris-Saclay, the University of Grenoble Alpes - Grenoble INP and the University of Lille - Centrale Lille.

Objectives

  • Prediction of the mechanical resistance to failure of structures subjected to extreme stresses (explosions, impacts, earthquakes, etc.)
  • dynamic effects on structures through physical and numerical simulations in statics and dynamics of materials (standard concrete, ultra-high performance fibre-reinforced concrete, bricks, soils, etc.)
  • field of action of experimentation, modelling and numerical simulation
  • pooling of experimental resources
