GDR PolyNano 2
Objectives
The objective of the GdR is to create and lead a place for sharing, exchanging and collaborating between all the actors concerned by nano-reinforced polymers. The main challenge is to understand, quantify and manage/control, in order to predict the nanometric effects on the entire chain of this new class of composite materials: elaboration, pre-treatment and functionalization of fillers, formulation and implementation processes of composites, study of the rheology and dispersion state of fillers, study of the filler/matrix interface, identification of deformation, damage and rupture mechanisms at different scales, characterization of the mechanical behaviour and multifunctional properties of these materials.
